About the Event
Since 2022 migrants have been continuously dropped off in El Paso in need of shelter, food, clothes and a safe place to breathe, unwind and regain strength for their journey ahead. The Rescue Mission of El Paso is an organization that offers a "hand up, not a hand out" to those experiencing homelessness in El Paso. They have multiple different departments that assist people such as Resident Shelter, Drug & Alcohol Relapse Prevention Program, Biblical Counseling, Corner of Hope and much more. Volunteering in such a place is a privilege and it will help our community to its maximum potential.
Currently, they are in need of volunteers for their Ice Cream Social where we will be helping setting up and passing ice cream to refugees, homeless and kids to battle the summer heat.
