Hello
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Biomedical Concentration from UTEP. As someone who’s passionate about making a difference, I’m currently working as an ER scribe and dedicating my free time to volunteering in my community.
My Story
My ultimate goal is to become an emergency medicine physician because I want to be the person patients can rely on during their most critical moments. The fast-paced and dynamic environment of the emergency department excites me, as it requires quick thinking, accurate assessments, and decisive actions to provide the best outcomes for patients. My commitment to serving El Paso drives me to stay in this community, where I can help address healthcare disparities and offer compassionate care to those who face barriers to access. Some of my favorite community service memories come from volunteering at Rotacare and Gentiva Hospice. These experiences have not only deepened my understanding of healthcare needs in underserved populations but also reinforced my dedication to bridging the gaps in our system.
Outside of my career pursuits, I enjoy playing video games, weightlifting, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and diving into my favorite anime series. These hobbies help me recharge and stay balanced as I work toward my goals. To those pursuing their own dreams, I encourage you to find what truly drives you and hold onto that passion. Whether it's through service, learning, or personal growth, every step brings you closer to making a meaningful impact. Let’s embrace every opportunity and keep moving forward together!
